The above rates are for April 2006 – March
2007.
- Rate includes all meals.
- For additional person / bed US$ 10/-
- Airport transfers = US$ 10, Alwaye (Aluva)
Railway Station transfer = US$ 10
- ADVANCE payment will be required for confirmed
bookings. People staying for more than a week, will have to pay for
each week in advance.
- Indian
Rupees, equaling the above rates may also be paid. We accept, Foreign Currency
and Travellers Cheque but do NOT accept credit / debit cards.
- Site seeing trips mentioned in the site will be
at extra cost of taxi.
- Yoga / meditation sessions could be arranged as
per the individual requirement at extra payment.
- Ayurvedic treatment on specific ailments /
rejuvenation could also be arranged by staying in the house itself.
(Minimum of $20 per day would be extra which includes doctor’s
consultation, fee for masseurs and medicines during the treatment
period)
- Extra site seeing and other services at extra cost.
General Conditions
- All the doubts and clarifications will have to
be cleared through email or phone before making the bookings.
- The guests will have to Register (Form C) their
name address, passport number and other travel related details on the
first day itself, after paying the advance amount.
- Rice is the main food of people of Kerala.
Not wheat.
- Food parcels from out side the house is also not
allowed.
- Cuisine is NOT per menu. No special food
is prepared for the guests. Less spicy (less chilly) food will
be available. Long staying guests normally asks for their
favourite dishes.
- Seasonal fruits - bananas, papaya, pineapple
etc. will be made available at no extra cost.
- The guests (especially ladies) will have to wear
cloths as per the directions of the hosts so as to respect the local
culture. This is especially applicable to go out in the village
for walk or during site seeing trips.
- You are staying with a family and the family
will have other guests (including children). Problems of privacy
/ individual attention / personal care etc. may not be comparable with
hotels / resorts.
- Site seeing / shopping / travel arrangements /
parcel sending etc. will have to be done by the guests
themselves. The hosts may not be able to accompany you for all
or any of these.
- Any recommendations by the hosts on ayurvedic
centres / yoga instructors / travel agents etc. will have to be
personally validated by the guest. We are not formally
associated with any such organisations. Even the links from this
site is for your information only and not imply our association with
them. Hence we are not personally liable or responsible for any
problems that may arise from any such information.
- Consumption of any kind of alcohol in the house
is not allowed.
- Smoking inside the house is not allowed.
