The Hosts - Mr. TS Parameswaran & Mrs. S. Saradammal Our main field of interest is Indian Culture and its proximity to nature. Mr. TS Parameswaran Namboothiri - Born in 1941, grew up in a Brahmin (namboothiri is the cast / community name) family following traditional customs. After completing studies joined Theatre groups for some years untill getting a teaching job. Mr. T.S. Parameswaran Namboothiri has a BA (Malayalam) and a B.Ed., and is a retired school teacher. He started Scouts and Guides in the school and also organised various activities for the students and for various organisations in the society. S Saradammal, son Santhosh and TS Parameswaran Namboothiri Mrs. S Saradammal - Born in 1946, grew up in a Brahmin (namboothiri) family following traditional customs. After completing studies, joined Kerala State Electricity Board as clerk. Mrs. S. Saradammal has an MA (English Literature) and is a retired clerk from the Electricity Board. Participated in dramas and veteran's athletic meet. Written several articles (in Malayalam) on contemporary issues. Three books are also published. They speak English, Malayalam, (little) Hindi and (little) Tamil. They have two children - elder son Santhosh is married to Sreeja and living in Thani Illam.  They have a daughter Saarika (Kunjava - born on 26 June 2003) and Saalini (born on 11 Aug 2005). If you plan to bring presents for the children, please make sure that they are locally made in your country, traditional, if possible hand-made and environment friendly. The daughter of the hosts - Savitha is married to Vijayan Namboothiri (a practicing astrologer - jyothisham) and now settled at Thiruvanathapuram.  They have 2 children - Adwaith (Appu - born on 17 April 1999) and Aarabhi (Ammini - born on 2 June 2002)    Santhosh, Vijayan, Savitha and Appu (during Santhosh's marriage)
